We are so honored to have partnered with Four Seasons Oahu at Ko`olina on a recent project and wanted to share more about the products and packaging for this gift.
First, are you familiar with the Four Seasons Wayfinders program? If not, you can learn more here, but briefly, Wayfinders is “an ongoing weekly series featuring art, culture, history and in-depth workshops….Workshop opportunities include bamboo wood carving, haku lei making, lauhala weaving, ancient healing practices and sarong dying, just to name a few.”
We are grateful that an organization as large as Four Seasons puts so much time and effort into showcasing and featuring local artists and small businesses. Now, onto the products and packaging!
THE PRODUCTS
The team at Four Seasons thoughtfully pieced together a collection of gifts from their Wayfinders artist and invited us to bring it all together.
We thought a little local flavor would be a nice treat for the recipients to snack on after arriving, so we called Marissa from mXm for some furikake wasabi roasted almonds (if you haven’t tried these yet, you should). A perfect blend of savory, sweet, with the tiniest bit of spicy.

- Raw, Local (and delicious) honey from Tolentino Honey Co.
- Greeting Cards by Jan Tetsutani
- Hale Noa Spray by Four Seasons Oahu at Ko`olina and OM Hawaii

THE PACKAGING
We started with our signature slide-top wood box and customized it with the Four Seasons logo in gold. For most business and client gifts, we use a custom designed sticker to seal the box with the company’s logo. However, Four Seasons is known for going above and beyond to personalize their service, and we thought a less-business/corporate finishing touch was in order and decided on a simple bow to literally tie it all together.
While we cannot take credit for the curated products in this collection, we love how nicely this collaboration came together. We sincerely hope the recipients were both surprised and delighted when they received their gifts.
