The Papaya Exchange was born from a love of beautiful things, thoughtful details, and the people and places that make Hawaiʻi special.

What started in 2016 as a passion for packaging design and supporting local businesses has grown into a Hawaiʻi-based gifting studio creating meaningful gifts and experiences for companies, organizations, events, and groups.

We believe a great gift does more than look beautiful. It makes someone feel seen, appreciated, and remembered.

JANEAN ABBOTT

The Papaya Exchange began with Janean's love of packaging design, thoughtful gifting, and supporting local businesses.

After years of creating gifts for clients, companies, and events, she built TPE around a simple idea:

Gifting should feel meaningful for the recipient and seamless for the person giving it.

Today, Janean brings together creative direction, product sourcing, design, and project management to create gifting experiences that feel personal, polished, and distinctly Hawaiʻi.
